Inspriation for the Journey
Healing With Words™ is a collection of inspirational artwork created to encourage reflection, hope, healing, and personal growth through meaningful words and beautiful imagery. For many years, I have had the privilege of helping others find healing through touch, compassion, and presence. Healing With Words™ was created as an extension of that journey.
Each piece in this collection is thoughtfully designed to inspire hope, encourage reflection, and bring meaningful reminders into everyday life. Whether displayed in a home, office, treatment room, or sacred space, these works are intended to uplift the heart and nourish the spirit.
More than thirty years ago, I found myself in one of the darkest seasons of my life. The pain I carried was so deep that words could not fully describe it. My heart was broken, I was homeless, and I had reached a place where I no longer cared whether I lived or died.
Yet in that darkness, Yahweh met me.
Step by step, He held me, nurtured me, and lovingly restored me. He brought healing to my heart, renewed my mind, strengthened my body, and opened my eyes to the reality of a spiritual life rooted in His love and presence.
During that season of restoration, I often visited a friend’s home. His mother had a wall filled with small plaques displaying positive sayings and encouraging words. I found myself drawn to them. I would doodle them, write them down, and spend time reflecting on their meaning. Those simple words became tools that helped me change my thinking, rebuild my hope, and continue moving forward.
As my journey with the Lord deepened, I shared a prayer with Him: wherever life would take me, I wanted His words on my walls. I never wanted to forget where He had brought me from, nor the healing He had given me.
For decades, I have held on to those doodles, those encouraging sayings, and most importantly, His Word. Together they became part of the foundation that transformed my life.
Healing With Words™ was born from that journey.
My prayer is that these words of encouragement, wisdom, hope, and faith will touch others just as they touched me. Whether someone is walking through a difficult season, seeking inspiration, or simply needing a reminder that they are not alone, I hope these words bring comfort, strength, and healing.
Because sometimes a single sentence can change a thought. You never know when someone may walk into your home, your business, or another place where words of encouragement are displayed, and find exactly the message they need at that moment. A few simple words can touch a heart, inspire hope, and leave a lasting impact.
A changed thought can change a life.
And a changed life can become a testimony of Yahweh’s love and grace.

Sometimes the most powerful realization is that positive change begins with us. This inspirational artwork features the timeless quote, “I wondered why somebody didn’t do something until I realized I am somebody,” serving as a daily reminder of personal responsibility, courage, and the ability each of us has to make a difference.
